Join us in this beautiful city for a long weekend and some much-needed writing time. Workshops are included if you’re looking for inspiration, there is plenty of writing space with tea, coffee and lunch laid on. One-to-one discussions of your writing can be arranged.
Friday 4 April
Optional workshops in morning and afternoon. Evening free (but a group meal will be organised for those interested).
Saturday 5 April
Optional workshop in morning, optional Cathedral Roof Tour in afternoon. Retreat finishes around 5pm.
Victoria Oldham is a professional editor with a New York publishing house, has worked with many novelists on their manuscripts and has published more than sixty articles and short stories. She also runs the Global Words editorial and literary consultancy.
Pippa Hennessy is the Development Director of Nottingham Writers’ Studio. She also works for a small publisher (Five Leaves), teaches at Nottingham University, and is a freelance workshop leader, ebook producer, editor, proofreader and typesetter. She has published poems, articles, essays, short stories, and has a graphic short story in a forthcoming anthology about World War I.
