Feature Writing course with Shreya Sen-Handley
November 4 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Feature writing for the media develops your writing skills, gives you a platform for creative expression, builds your author profile, and is quite frankly, lots of fun. Learn how to pitch an article and have it accepted, pick a topic that will grab attention and produce great content, and negotiate edits and pay. Learn how crisp, stylish, imaginative or well-researched your work should be, what voice, angle or format to use and where, and many more methods, myths and best practices of feature writing for the media. And get to try your hand at it as well, with plenty of discussion and feedback.
Dates: November 4, 11, 18, 25, December 2, 9.
